Design & Detail CEU: Threads of History

Description

Join us for an informative CEU, presented by Emma Fritz, Sales & Training Coordinator for Ann Gish.

Explore historic works of art in The Met collection, which inspired Ann Gish’s jacquard, silk, velvet, and embroidered bedding suites.

This Met-centric CEU explores the inspiring collaboration between The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Ann Gish, showcasing how artworks, objects, costumes, and other works from The Met’s collection are reimagined into luxurious textiles.

The course honors The Met’s global influence across art, culture, and design, while offering designers an in-depth understanding of the historical elements that inform Ann Gish collections. Attendees will gain insight into the craftsmanship behind the Ann Gish textiles, their cultural significance, and the creative processes that bridge fine art and interior design.

This CEU is a celebration of design as a dialogue between past and present, where timeless art weaves into the fabric of modern interiors.
